How We Review Tip Sheets

We currently use HRN’s Power Picks as a baseline for comparison for all tip services in the United States?

Why?

HRN openly is transparent about the winning percentage of their top 4 contenders. This gives an effective, public baseline for comparisons on strike rate. HRN’s picks also are generated, we believe, by an algorithm making them a consistent basis to compare against human handicappers and other handicapping services.

Grades and Scores

Contenders: This A-F letter grade is our way to grade how well the services top picks finish in the money (A= Significantly Better, B=Better, C=Same, D=Worse, F=Substantially Worse)

Win %: This letter grade scores performance vs HRN Power Picks (A= Significantly Better, B=Better, C=Same, D=Worse, F=Substantially Worse)

4Box ROI: This ROI % is a function of the Top 4 picks in an Exacta box. We don’t advise playing 4 horse Exacata boxes, the goal of these two 4box data points is to give an idea of how often the top two finishes come from the top 4 picks and what the ROI on that $12 wagered would look like.

4Box Strike: This strike rate percentage is a % of how often the top 4 picks complete an Exacta when in an Exacta 4 box
